Budapest Square of Holy Trinity
The major sqaure of the Castle district used to be the city center in the early Middle Ages. Commonly referred to as the square of the Holy Trinity. Markets, processions, pageantried were often held here also. The main sculpture in the middle of the square as below,
Budapest Photo Holy Trinity
This sculpture was dedicated to teh end of the plague pandemic between 1711 and 1714. The main composition is the world of Fulop Ungleich of Eisenstadt, the embrossments were made by Antal Hoger.
Close to this monument you will find Budapests Fishermans Bastion and the statue of St Stephen on Horseback which is a must see for all those who visit Budapest.
